The brewers at Logboat Brewing Co. craft the beers they like to drink. Since opening in 2014, the founders have constantly tried to innovate and push themselves to brew new, unique, and interesting beers to keep things fresh and exciting. They believe beer is meant to be enjoyed with friends and family in a social setting so they try to provide both a great atmosphere for enjoying our craft, as well as an engaging, educational experience to become better acquainted with the Logboat brand. The Logboat taproom is a place we like to consider our educational room. It provides a unique opportunity to interact with customers so they can get to know the brewers, the beers, and as much as they care to know about the brewing process and the philosophy around their craft. •Food: No dine in, no delivery, but food trucks usually outside, and restaurant across the street. •Prices: $-$$ •Hours: 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday; 1-10 p.m. Friday – Sunday; Closed Monday •Outdoor seating: Yes, lots. •Credit Cards: Yes

The Bur Oak Brewing Co. was established in 2014 off of HWY 70 east of Columbia. The name pays homage to the 400-year-old Burr Oak Tree in the McBaine Bottoms near the Missouri River. The tree represents longevity and community. The brewery delivers meticulously executed yet approachable, stylistic craft beers intended to bring communities together. They craft year-round, seasonal and special release beers. Their approach is to be “authentic and simple” sticking to true, clean, nice beer that is not pretentious or complicated.
